Scope of work:
Amaretto Foods was formed in December 2017, when the ADM Capital Cibus Fund Europe acquired the 430 hectares, 11 year old Lake Powell almond orchard in Robinvale, Victoria.
Amaretto Foods was formed to secure the initial asset and management team as a platform for further expansion. As part of the greenfield development strategy, a second property, Noraleigh of 560 hectares, was purchased in August 2018 for development in 2019. They envisage expanding to over 2,000 hectares of modern almond orchards in the medium term.
Amaretto Foods aims to be Australia’s premier almond grower with a premium team operating at scale whilst utilising latest technologies to grow sustainably.
We were tasked to modernise and optimise Amaretto Foods (now Amaretto Almonds)’s logo and visual identity. We opted for colors that speak to the natural terroir of Amaretto’s orchards in Australia. Maintaining a sound balance between corporate and agricultural/ farming was important, in order to keep things professional, relevant and meaningful to a broad spectrum of eyeballs. A simple, clean font was selected and a kernel visual was included that nods to core product.
