Corporate & Sustainability Reporting
It’s a time of unprecedented environmental change, encapsulated by the theme of “Shifting Baselines.” As global temperatures continue to rise—powerfully visualised on the cover through the IPCC AR6 Synthesis Report’s ‘Climate Stripes’—the impacts on ecosystems, economies, and societies were becoming ever more profound. The challenge was to craft a report that not only communicated the urgency of these changes but also showcased the full breadth of ADMCF’s work across water and climate risk, transitioning to net zero, protecting wildlife, living oceans, world without waste, finance for nature, raising awareness and driving change, and safeguarding legacy children at risk. The goal was to engage, inform, and inspire a diverse audience of stakeholders to collective action.

Again this year, in close collaboration with ADMCF, we set out to deliver an annual report that brings the “Shifting Baselines” theme to life and clearly articulates the Foundation’s impact across all its programme areas. Central to our approach is the visualisation of data—translating complex information into accessible and engaging content through infographics, iconography, colour, and layout. The narrative highlights ADMCF’s leadership in addressing water and climate risk through the China Water Risk programme, which supports institutions in building climate resilience. It details progress in transitioning to net zero, including collaborative efforts to develop decarbonisation pathways for Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area.
The report showcases ADMCF’s pivotal role in protecting wildlife and combating trafficking, as well as its advocacy for stronger regulatory frameworks. Living oceans remain a core focus, with accounts of marine protection, action against plastic pollution, and sustainable seafood initiatives. The Foundation’s vision for a world without waste is illustrated through its influence on policy and legislation, while innovative frameworks for finance for nature guide private sector investment in biodiversity. Raising awareness and educating to drive change is woven throughout, and the Legacy Children at Risk programme underscores ADMCF’s commitment to protecting the most vulnerable.

The completed annual report unifies ADMCF’s multifaceted work under the cohesive “Shifting Baselines” theme, reinforced by a visually striking and meaningful cover. Every section is enhanced by thoughtful data visualisation, ensuring that scientific and policy information is not only accurate but also visually compelling and easy to understand. Stakeholders have responded enthusiastically, praising the report’s clarity, structure, and the power of its data visualisation—infographics, iconography, colour, and layout all working together to make complex issues both understandable and urgent. The report reinforces ADMCF’s reputation as a leader in environmental advocacy and cross-sector collaboration, and inspires collective action by clearly demonstrating both the risks of inaction and the pathways to a more resilient, equitable future. It sets a new benchmark for annual reporting in the environmental sector, amplifying ADMCF’s impact and vision across all programme areas.
